ASAI has a new look, and a phone app in September

Open ASAI today and the first thing you will notice is that the whole thing went warm. The cold grey is gone, and what is underneath reads like paper — an off-white canvas, panels sitting on it the way cards sit on a desk, and a serif hello waiting at the top of an empty chat.

We redrew all of it, and not just the chat screen: the sidebar, settings, roleplay, and every kind of block the assistant can send back to you. Nothing moved while we were doing it, so there is nothing to relearn — it simply looks like something a person laid out, rather than something assembled out of defaults.

And since we are here — ASAI for phones is planned for this September. It is the same design, drawn for a small screen from the start, so the thing on your phone will be the same product you already know from the browser.
